WordPress Senior Developer Wanted

Our ongoing “Gazelle growth” means that we are looking for more ambitious developers for our office in Copenhagen. You will become part of a dedicated team of WordPress specialists working on solutions for our customers on a daily basis.

We develop our own themes and plugins, and make use of the Gutenberg editor, WordPress’ API as well as integrations to various external systems for automating processes. We have built solutions for a wide range of customers such as Doctors Without Borders, the Danish Nature Fund, Istilfest, the National Grief Centre, Fritz Schur Technical Group, CBS, VUC and with more projects on the way, we need you.

Your Role

As a WordPress programmer, you will be part of Rommel’s dedicated WordPress team in Copenhagen. Your primary role will be to work with the backend and frontend using various technologies like PHP/JavaScript/React/Git/Elasticsearch/HTML/SASS/PostCSS etc. As a developer in Rommel, you will have plenty of variety and responsibility in your daily work. You will lead your own projects, and you will work in a team on larger projects.

You and Your Experience

You have a structured approach to solving tasks
You have the courage to take responsibility and work independently
You are proficient in PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript
You have WordPress experience
You have experience developing 3rd party integrations (API)
You have experience with Git
You honour your agreements and deliver on time
You have an interest in developing your skills on your own
You’ve been working with DevOps
You have an eye for detail
You have experience developing for different browsers and screen sizes by applying responsive web design principles
